Rome Airport - Terminal 2

Rome Airport, also named as Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport, or Rome Fiumicino Airport, is the international main airport of Rome and the eighth airport in Europe, concerning the passenger traffic. Officially launched in 1961, Rome Fiumicino Airport is today connecting the entire globe with Italian Peninsula. It is located in Fiumicino, a city 35 km far away from Rome city centre. Rome Airport counts with 5 passenger Terminals: 1, 2, 3 and 5.

Terminal 2

Terminal 2 of Rome Airport (FCO) operates with domestic flights, Schengen and non-Schengen flights. It is a small terminal which is connected though the arrivals area with the Terminal 1. It has de C and D Boarding areas. At the floor 2 you can access to trai station (follow the signs). Terminal 2 check-in desks are 173-190 and they lead at floor 0 to gates C1-C7 and by elevator or stairs to gates C1-16, and D1-D10. Non Schengen flights atr Terminal 2 are boarded from Ggate G/H.

There is a free airport shuttle service available during all the year, running every fifteen minutes. It connects the airport, the Parking areas within the Rome Airport and the Cargo city area.

Kiss & Go Area

To make the space more efficient the Rome Airport counts with the Kiss & Go area, a very special and new service which lets you stop during 15 minutes in both departures and arrivals areas of the Terminals 1,2 and 3. It is the modern system than ensures a quick, safe and free stop for everyone who needs to bring or pick up somebody at the Rome Airport. It definetely helps the airport to be more fluid and efficient.

Other useful information

Air France has its own lounge at floor 3 of Terminal 2. Information desks within Terminal 2 are located: at the arrivals area, at the exit after luggage delivery area open from 07:15h to 15:00h. Nursery services are offered to all passengers and at Terminal 2 they are located at departures area
