Rome Airport offers a wide selection of bus services to transfer to downtown Rome.

Rome Airport is not directly connected to the Metro. There are 2 lines which connect Rome Airport to Rome city centre: Line A (orange) and B (blue).


Rome Metro service hours: Daily from 05:30 am to 11:30 pm. Fri and Sat: Until 01:30 am.

At FCO Airport you can find yellow or white taxis at the arrivals area of Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. A one-way trip to downtown Rome will take 40 up to 60 minutes according to your final destination.


There is a flat fare of € 48.00 to Rome from Fiumicino Airport.

There isn’t any Tram line that gets directly from Rome Airport to Rome and back.


Please bear in mind that it is possible to reach the city centre by taking some tram lines and then boarding an additional mean of transportation, either bus or train.
